Chris Purves

Chris started his photographic journey in the early 70s. He was enrolled in Confederation College in Thunder Bay Ont. in a broadcasting course. The course covered three main topics, Broadcasting, Journalism and Photography. As the course progressed the photography became the #1 interest for Chris. Over the years he has been a freelance photojournalist, commercial photographer, photographic artist , and even ran a custom B&W darkroom service.
Chris shoots most of the candids and ringshots and some of the portraits.

Cheryl Purves

Even though Cheryl is not a photographer she has a keen artistic sense and has a wonderfull eye for detail. Cheryl is the jack of all trades of the group. She wrangles the dogs and handlers. Making sure that the lineup moves smoothly. She does most of the sales and looks after the books on site.
Cheryl is our level head and sees that everything goes smoothly and that we don't forget anything.

Tanya Purves

Tanya took up her dad's love of photography in high school. One of her elective courses was photography so away she went. She is the film hound in the group. One day she asked to use Chris' cameras. This progressed from "Dad can I use your camera" to "Dad I have your camera if you want it OKAY?". She still has a B&W darkroom and uses it when she can. As well as her fulltime job she is enrolled in the New York Institute of Photography correspondence course.
Tanya has always been facinated with dogs. She has as many dog breed books as she has photography books. Tanya shoots most of the ribbon shots and some of the portraits.
